PRE-VACUUM and VACUUM DRYING
Sterilization of waste, solids and porous materials
To initiate sterilization effectively, all residual air must first be removed from the sterilization chamber. The vacuum process is mandatory for sterile items that are to be transported, stored or used during an operation.
Our high-quality pre-vacuum modules guarantee maximum safety when sterilizing porous and difficult-to-air sterilization items. An additional vacuum drying module enables dry, sterile-ventilated materials to be sterilized directly on removal. Both the VF and VT modules are suitable for instruments in sterile packaging, textiles, filter cartridges and plates, tubes, syringes, pipettes, pipette tips in boxes, waste in waste bags (in conjunction with emission-free sterilization), sterilization items with recesses and cavities, glassware and all types of tools.
VF module for fractionated fore-vacuum
For thorough air removal before the actual sterilization process, we recommend our VF module for fractionated pre-vacuum. This module removes air in the sterilization chamber through repeated evacuation alternating with steam inflows. This creates a so-called fractionated pre-vacuum, which enables the steam to penetrate porous media without any problems. The vacuum depth and the number of pressure changes are individually adjustable and allow economical processes for complete steam penetration.
VT module vacuum drying
Use our VT module for vacuum drying to prevent recontamination of the items to be sterilized after the drying phase and to completely remove residual moisture from the items to be sterilized. This generates a pulsed deep vacuum in the sterilization chamber at the end of sterilization. The integrated double jacket ensures that the chamber is evenly heated from the outside and then sterilely ventilated. The sterile ventilation prevents recontamination by ambient air.
